Rocker Type

Continuous

Continuous

A continuous rocker has one smooth, uninterrupted curve from tip to tail. It delivers a fast, predictable ride with consistent lift off the wake and softer landings—ideal for carving, flow, and riders who prioritize speed and control over maximum pop.

3-Stage

3-Stage

A three-stage rocker features a flat center section with more pronounced angles at the nose and tail. This profile channels energy into an explosive, vertical pop off the wake for maximum airtime, though landings can feel more abrupt than a continuous shape.

Blended

Blended

A blended rocker combines elements of continuous and three-stage designs—a firm flat section through the middle with smoother curves at the tips. Aggressive edging produces 3-stage-like pop, while a flatter approach yields the speed and smooth lift of a continuous board.

Monocoque Construction

Monocoque Construction

Monocoque Construction integrates the board's top and bottom laminates into a unified shell for added stiffness and durability. This approach helps distribute impact forces across the entire board rather than isolated zones. The result is a more consistent flex pattern and improved longevity.

Layered Glass

Layered Glass

Multiple layers of fiberglass are orientated and laminated to fine-tune flex, pop, and torsional response. Each layer is placed strategically to reinforce high-stress zones without adding excess weight. Layered Glass gives riders predictable performance from edge to edge.

M6 Inserts

M6 Inserts

Industry-standard M6 binding hardware inserts provide a secure, compatible connection between your wakeboard and boot. Boards with M6 inserts work with virtually all major wakeboard binding brands on the market. This universal mounting standard delivers reliable performance season after season.

Biolite 3 Core

Biolite 3 is Hyperlite's proven lightweight core construction designed to reduce swing weight without sacrificing durability. The formula delivers a lively, responsive feel underfoot that's ideal for progressive boat riding. It has been a staple across Hyperlite wakeboards for years.

Variable Edge Design

Edge thickness transitions from forgiving bevels between the bindings to sharper rail sections in the tip and tail. This gives riders an easier edge lock through the middle while still allowing aggressive cuts when needed. Variable Edge Design balances forgiveness with performance.

Molded Landing Feature

A specially molded zone in the board profile softens impact on wake-to-wake landings and overshoots. The feature helps absorb compression while keeping the board lively on the water. It's engineered to give riders more confidence when sending tricks to the flats.

Minimum Swing Weight Profile

The board profile is shaped to minimize rotational mass in the air for faster spins and inverts. Weight is trimmed from non-essential areas while preserving strength through the centerline. Riders notice quicker handle passes and a more agile feel on rotations.

Sized UP Philosophy

Hyperlite's Sized UP Philosophy scales each board length to the rider's size for appropriate surface area and swing weight. Larger riders get proportionally larger boards rather than forcing everyone onto the same template. The approach optimizes float, control, and pop across the size range.

With a new Murray shape landing for 2027, we had one goal in mind: don’t mess it up. So we didn’t. We refined what needed improvement and left what already works, resulting in the new Hyperlite Murray Wakeboard. Still built to be fun, easy to progress on, and full of good sessions, now with added maneuverability and a more locked-in, responsive feel. A new diamond tip profile improves edge control without losing pop, while integrated grab rails along the top sheet increase stiffness for more stored energy and bigger lift off the wake. Underneath it all is the same proven Murray running surface riders trust, familiar, consistent, and built to perform every time
