Just wanted to share with everyone that Hyperlite and Shaun Murray extended a small token of our appreciation to an Army Soldier named Alex Tibben. Alex wrote into Hyperlite several months ago letting us know how much of a fan he was and also that one of his dreams was to meet Shaun Murray.

On October 26th, we made that dream come true! Shaun invited Alex and his wife to spend the day with him at his house. Alex was surprised to see that Hyperlite had provided him with a brand new 07 Murray board with bindings and the opportunity to spend some one on one with the best, Shaun Murray.

It is very humbling to hear stories from such a young man that puts his life on the line and spends up to 15 months in a row away from his family. Alex recently got back from a 12 month assignment in Iraq and is about to leave again for a 15 month assignment in Afghanistan.

He had the time of his life. He ended up spending the afternoon on the boat with Murray and get some pointers on his riding. Was a small token we could give him compared to what he gives us....our freedom!
