Well, first of all sorry that the updates stopped after the second day of the trip, but we had to move the compound further down the lake into a finger that had protected water and we lost all cell service. The updates were coming in from my iphone and when we lost service, I was not able to get them out. But finally after a long week and weekend at the Portland Pro Tour stop we are back.

The rest of the week in Lake Shasta was productive and fun. We had a lot of time as a team to ride, film, eat, play music, visit the Caverns of Lake Shasta and get the 2008 Brochure shoot done. Granted that 30 people is a lot and there were times that were crazy and chaotic but everyone worked hard and we accomplished what we set out to do.

Tuesday and Thursday were helicopter day. Joey Meddock shot from the helicopter while Rodrigo did some chase. We pretty much had two crews running from sun up to sun down every day. Sean Kilgus and Brandon Parker were there to film the experience and get some footage for upcoming podcast.

Dan O "the manno" went along and has sealed the position as the Hyperlite team mascot. This is the second big trip that Dan O has at the last second decided to bless us with his presence. For those of you who might not know Dan O, he is the announcer for the Mastercraft Pro Wakeboard Tour and longtime friend of everyone on team Hyperlite. After getting a new Kazoo at the Caverns gift shop, Dan O found his place in our Hyperlite band with Ruck and Murray on Guitar, BT on drums and Dan O now is the kazoo/vocals side of it all.

Another memorable part of the trip was when the team went into Holiday Harbor Marina for an autograph session on Wednesday. Several people went in together to get Dan O a little something from the mainland. A walking stick with a deer head at the top now known as the "Doe Master". The "Doe Master" has become Dan O's sidekick and not left his side yet.

Hope you enjoy the pics from the trip and stay tuned for future podcast that will be short moments from the trip.
