On the evening of June 24^th the Hyperlite Team along with the crew from Alliance had the pleasure of showcasing their new endeavor, Rewritten, to the majority of the Wake industry in Orlando, FL.  The red carpet was out and the lights were up as the party started at the Plaza Theatre around 7pm.  After interviews and photos with the stars of the film, the producers and other industry icons it was time to open the curtains and treat all wakeboarding fans to a truly enjoyable wakeboard experience. 

 

Rewritten dropped on Orlando at about 9pm Wednesday night and for 48 minutes most of audience was in awe, rocking to an intense soundtrack and witnessing what the Hyperlite Team, Keith Kipp and Josh McWilliams had been laboring over for the past year.  The noises heard were mostly from the stars of the film, witnessing the shots for the first time and cheering each other on throughout the different segments.   

 

The opening segment of Rewritten definitely set a tone that was backed up by every rider’s house section.  The goal of the film was to break the mold, rewrite if you will how a wakeboard movie can by edited or pieced together.  The title of the movie is also a reflection of the Hyperlite Team itself, having gone through many changes and additions in the past few years, young guys stepping up, legends leading the team and some new faces that now are synonymous with our brand, Hyperlite.

 

We’re not going to spoil anything for you, just make sure when you witness it for the first time that you have a kicking speaker system and the boat has gas in it, you’ll want to take a set immediately or you’ll want to watch it again.  Either way everyone at Hyperlite and Alliance Multi Media hopes you enjoy it!
