MMA Fighter Gray Maynard gets Rusty in the Cage

Through some mutual friends we learned about an avid Wakeboarder and MMA fighter, Gray Maynard.  Gray trains with Team Couture full time in Vegas and wakeboards any chance he gets.  Luckily for him he asked the right questions and got the hook up on a new Marek Board.  Just so happens Rusty is a huge fan of the MMA, Team Couture and Gray.  So Rusty headed to Vegas and had what he described as “One of the best days ever!”

Gray invited Rusty to the gym early in the morning to join him, his boxing coach and his jiu-jitsu coach to run through some drills, practice sets and some photo opportunities.  It’s possible someone has found a way to beat Rusty finally as it hasn’t happened on the water.  The current World Champ and recent Wake Games Champ had a Mastercraft waiting for the duo on Lake Mead.  With a boat full of onlookers and media from both the Wakeboard world and the MMA world Rusty and Gray tore it up for an afternoon set.
